S.A.F.E.T.Y. Event Open to DSC Youth

Dallas Safari Club has an incredible youth firearm safety event and they have opened it to all youth.  Youth can get their Hunter Education card while at the event if they complete 10 on-line quizzes (link below), print them and bring them to the event.

Date:  April 2, 2016
Meet:  Cabela’s in Allen Texas at 6:00 AM – ride charter buses to Hidden Lakes Hunting Resort.  Return to Cabela’s Allen store around 5:00 PM. ALL student/parents must ride the bus in order to participate.
Cost:  Youth is free, attending parent is $35.00
Youth: Open to youth ages 12-18 years old.
Adults:  One adult per youth is required to attend.
Application:  Complete the below application and return to Scot McClure to participate.
Hunter Education:  Each youth must have completed Hunter Ed. OR the 10 on-line quizzes linked below and bring them to the event.  Students may complete their Hunter Education certifications at the event.  Hunter Ed. cost is $15.00.

Each youth is taught one-on-one firearm safety with a rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader, pistol, archery and crossbow, as well as  an ethics course.  These disciplines fulfill the Texas Hunter Education field exercise and live shooting requirements for Hunter Education.
