One bird killed in first month of Utah’s new crow season

One might say those who supported creating a hunting season for American crows in Utah may be metaphorically dining on the species this week, after the first session has ended with only one bird reported killed. “With the price of gasoline and steel shot, I don’t see many people going out to shoot a bird that doesn’t put any bacon on the table,” said Bill Fenimore, a member of the Utah Wildlife Board who voted against the hunt.
