CWD found in two new Wyoming hunt areas

Wyoming Game and Fish Department officials report that in recent weeks mule deer in hunt areas 84 and 36 have tested positive for chronic wasting disease, marking the first time the disease has been confirmed in those areas. The new CWD cases bring the disease’s leading edge closer to Jackson Hole’s fed elk herds and fill in previously CWD-free hunt areas on the map.
